Imagine a human been caged for no reason and is not able to tell anyone what he feels. What might be the suffering of that person. The same thing we do with animals and birds. We have no right (are no one) to cage the innocent beings. We are not anyone's owner. There is only one owner of everyone of us and that is the Almighty Himself, no matter whether you name him Shri Ram or Shri Krishna. We all are just his kids and we should learn to live in harmony with eachother. But we humans continue to misuse and mistreat animals for our own benefits.
